OK, like the other guy, I have a mysterious carb on my kombi... mysterious to me anyway!
Its on an AS-case single port engine, which i assume is a 1600?
It runs OK, a bit fast but i dont know how to slow down the idle seeing as i cant identify it!

id say webber clone off a lada niva but not sure is it a twin barrel like the webber
Bizarre ·
Definitelty a twin barrel
You can see the depth of the Scat manifold

huh? :o

ok from the pics as said its a twin barrel but we cannot tell if its a progressive or syncronise. when you look down the throats do both butterflies move at the same time or are they offset also is there any markings on the carb that can be useful in identifing it

There's a few numbers scattered around but no words, it doesn't say "webber" or anything as far as i can see.
I have a feeling that its mounted on backwards to how it would usually be because all the screws for diddling around are at the front (by the fan housing) which would make things difficult, grrr
Sorry, dont know anything about carbs other than Solex (I'm going to stick a 30-Pict-3 on here and find the original manifold)

it looks a bit jap style like a mikuni but yeah it definaltely looks like a progresive just not vacuum opertated
