how to remove a kombi handbrake handle?

I know I'm a bit of a dumbass but how do you remove the roll pin attatching the handbrake lever on a bay kombi? Type 3's were never this tricky.

Would you believe me if I told you I looked thru the almighty Bentley manual and could not find anything about the handbrake lever? :duh 😂

OK.. just read the CLymer manual and it simply says "Drive out roll pin securing handle to ratchet bar..."

Useful as a ne-legged man in an ass kicking contest... 👎

I'm thinking it must be summin simple if they dont give us instructions... try a nailpunch?

Tap gently as the handle carnt be purchased anywhere unless S/H so treat it good
