Flat brown looks mad, with the ronals i think. Cream wheels with the brown would cool aswell though...... Looks cool "as is" but.
Put that beam in damn slacka.

Red / brown oxide with matt black insert.

A colour combination that would give it a vintage look would be the body in a dark bottle green and the mudguards in black.
Given that the shape of the Beetle goes back to the 1930s, then a combination that was very popular in the late 1940s and early 1950s would still be appropriate.

Yep, the red oxide black insert gets my vote.

man who hit that ugly bloke with an axe did ya see the weound it left

Ron, I think squizy has it with the red oxide two tone. Chepa and cheerful. Just amke sure to put some clearcoat with matting agent in it over the top so rust doesn't come up underneath it. Also go some 145s on the front rims....And dude, YOU NEED SOME WHITEWALLS!!! 馃憤

that colour combo rocks, or use matt orange instead of red oxide for a wicked more modern racer look 馃槑

What colour is the interior? Wanna match up with the interior?
Just a suggestion, think about the bling factor. Cheers
Do it at home??? Too easy just coat then clear coat coat then clear coat and after that add some more clear coat...
worth a try:P
