can you tell me if a type 2 1600sp the same size as t1
and fit in oval beetle

yep same size but wont fit in an Oval unless you cut some tinware away and if u have the 36 gearbox then you have to modify the bellhousing

is a 1600 with a 36hp crash box a good idea anyway?
forget about first gear
i know a 40hp is bad enough
