VIN decode?

Hey guys

I'm not really sure what year my Beetle is.

It's registered as a 62, but i suspect it's about a 64 in actuality.

The VIN is 195211678 from the stamp under the back seat.

If anyone knows how to decode (and can) it that would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

1 is Beetle
9 is Australia
5 = 1965

so u havea 65 model

Does it have a rear heater outlet in the heater tube under the seat on the battery side of the car

Yeah, i think it does. A tube that narrows down and comes out in the flat panel below the bottom of the bench?

yep its a 65 then or the chassis n body sections you have r the rest can be other year models especially the engine lid n lights etc etc
