I think i might have one... not sure of condition... (its a 'thought though'), in the spare bits box... will hav to have a look.

But condition would be unknown...

can you have a look for us mate the throttle shaft should give some sort of an idea on the cond but it must b a 34 and complete (i have no spares) given that it reasonable wadda you want 4 it:thumb

its a 34 pict-3 , looks straight, will need to be pulled apart for a clean, shes dusty from when i was stripping the interior (was sitting in a box inside the bug). seems to be very fine, and looks complete... I just worry mate, i can't guarantee whether it be good or not, i'm sure theres plenty out there other that this one that can have a betta guarantee, keep ur options open, cause it could just be a dud.

Just sent an email to someone who might be able to help ya, might have a betta condition one.

bewdy thanks mate

is the linkage in the fuel pump nice and tight chris?

is there wear on the cast carby where the arm has rubbed? if not then should be not too bad.

rebuild kit is about 25 bucks. blow everything out with a compresor or a can of air and clean the gunk off with some thinners. re assemble with new gasgets and bobs your uncle.

providing the thing isnt rooted but buying second hand u never know......

emmachisit chris??????

Trade ya in for the manx :P:thumb lol

Soz for delay mate, uni work, normal work, and illness (been flat out). I'm confident to say the carbs got a lot of life in it still, will do Nick's suggested checks (thanx nick!), and get back to ya. Price wise, will look into it, post it up 2night, i'm not too familiar in prices of carbs, but cause i'm not ABSOLUTELY certain its 100%, it shouldn't be too bad of a price. Kinda like a lucky dip, u could end up with some mad ass good condition one for cheap price due to uncertainty.

Fancy me working on a sunday.... 👎 (gtg, catch up 2night)

But those buggies ur selling are nice. Hope to get a personal loan, can afford $5k, and get any sorta buggy rwc in the soon future hopefully... might be slim chance, but even a kalita etc. (IE: cheaper models) would hopefully work out. Perfect for the summer's sun coming up.

You can have the carby for free if ya want. It seems fine. just needs a good clean. its only dust from ripping off the door mat material in the headliner. Thats all. So water will clean it off

Rather it go to good use, at the moment, its just a bit of unuseable metal in a box. I only got 1500 metal hunk, nuffin that will fit a 34 pict-3. (Still yet to call it an engine... cause difference between an engine and a hunk of metal is that one starts and the otherone doesn't lol)

otherwise, bizarre might have one he can say is perfect and clean, and there wouldn't be any doubt at all. The carby as been sitting out in the weather, or chucked around.
