when i change the rear end swing 2 irs can i refit the rear disc brakes without 2 much drama???

Yep, should be bolt-off, bolt-on

If your swinger is a short axle you will need to get spacers for the hubs where they were machined down...otherwise it's a straight swap over if it is a long axle swinger to IRS. Pay attention to the brake hoses though..."sometimes" they are a bit short....
