How do i get the little blighters off?...might be rusted in!

I am trying to find out the required bolt as i am missing one and i probably need a wheel brace but havent got one that fits. So two ways of doing this either someone can tell me how to get it off (and i know turn brute force, car out of gear etc) or tell me the bolt size i need...

Talking 57 Beetle with 5 bolts per hub.

there 19mm and you need a single hex socket or a knuckle bar about 450mm long and 1/2 inch drive too

EASY

get someone to put there foot on the brake while you stand on the knuckle bar

oh there Right hand threads so you undo anti clockwise

I think I have seen smaller ones...

maybe 18mm or 17mm no smaller...

but 19mm is all the ones I've ever taken on/off...

For front wheels You will need someone to have their foot on the brakes...

VW standard wheel brace spark plug spanner is good, plus You can stick a piece of pipe on the end...

I have sockets etc, but I like using the VW socket spanner and round bar...
same bar is used in the VW jacks...

Ratchet spanner may break so best not to use one of those...
I applied a very small amount of antiseize on My wheel bolts..

I bought a wheel brace from supercheap that has a multi sized socket on the end that can fit several sizes. It also has a handle that extends out to give more leverage. I had to stand on it to get some of mine off and it bent the handle a little but it worked.
