Hey!
I have a few questions reguarding the 1916 I'm building.
I have had the block line bored, crack tested, machined to suit 94mm, I have a new C35 cam, new german lifters, stock crank, Mahle P&B's, case saved and converted to 8mm...

But the heads?? For now I'm just going to use my stock 1585 heads (Machined for 94mm obviously) but what could be done to them at a later date? I'm talking in the way of bigger valves etc.

And also I'm using (For now) a 009 and a 350 Holley, anyone use this setup?

Tips and hints please people!
Thanks.
-Staggers.

CAM, I meant C35 CAM!!

Lots can be done to the heads. 040s are great building blocks.
valves can go up to say 40/35 and 3angle valve grinds.
Head and flow work is beneficial - Opening the chambers up etc etc

You are going to need some huge squish clearance to keep you compression down until you shape up the heads. Look at the thread dumone put on porting and flowing some heads, get a die grinder and gosick son!
