Warwick Volkswagen Street Parade

For those wishing to be a part of the Warwick Volkswagen Street parade as part of the VW Warwick drag weekend, please note the following:

• Meet at the Warwick Dragway at 10am. Here you will be given a map directing you to Leslie Park in the Warwick CBD where the parade will start from.

• The parade will start from 10.30 am from Leslie Park. It will be police escorted through the main street of Warwick and then back to Leslie Park for a static display.

• The Warwick City Council has provided a pipe band for the duration of the display which will be about 45 minutes.

• Competitors and spectators may return to the Warwick Dragway from 11.30am.

• Scrutineering starts at noon, and qualifying/practice from 1pm - 5pm.

How long will the parade go for as my car doesn't like to travel at idle speed for to long in the heat? I'm trying to convince Ian to drive the oval up there but he want's to drive the toyoto hiace no fun.

30 minutes max, and because the course is straight up and back along the main street, things should flow reasonably smoothly.

How long is the straight up Craig ? and is the way back called ' the return road '
or do we behave ourselves in public ?
