Jamie Oliver Live

Anyone else see the live show in Melbourne on Tuesday when he lost it . Has been all over Nova FM the past couple of days. Brings new light to the way I see the naked chef. Disapointing......

Tells us more then mate, I had a lot of respect for his food, but that live show was so wrong. A sort of generation game aimed at the grannies. A real sell out, probably not his fault. yeah right.

I rocked up late but he had already had a go about the sound crew I think. First half of show was great, audience interaction, demos, handouts etc. All good apart for the slightly plump female audience member crawling on all fours across the stage to get her drink. Top lifted to show BOOBIES.... and a large um belly... Couldn't spot the black swan though...
Second half he had no enthusiasm... Quite evident...Sound techs apologised for the problems and hoped it wasn't their last gig... Somethimg happened in the intermission.
Then to top it off the last demo eas a fish stew cooked in 4 minutes with an accompanying rap song whose chorus was ..."sing it quickly....
"I want a FISH STEW".....Get the picture. The old ducks there didn't get it or just love Jamie too much.
Just my view bud I thought he was taking the PISS....
Not necesarry and Nova Fm thought the same I think...
Would have liked to ask him about his VW bus though...

I am quite a big fan of his cooking style, but that show was so bad I turned it off. good idea for the person making the money ;-)

did you learn anything of how to cook? thats what I always like good ingredents taught in a fun easy style, with a little bit of cockney cheese ;-)

compared to delia smith and the other blokey with the spikey hair, jamies style of cooking was refreshing

Pay $95 to see an overrated chef spit the dummy, do a half strip act and make half of Tooraks middle aged botox job women sing "I wanna fist you"......Hmmmm
Rather go to the strippers and spend my money on vodka.

Well occasionally we make the wrong decisions and have moments of weakness. So I asked the wife if she wanted to go see J O live.... Stupid question. Free tickets though.
Maybe she'll let me get some Dropped spindles so I can finish my front end now.

LOL - keeping the wife happy is all that matters mate
