Can anybody help me I want to be able to put a set of 15"fuch rims on my early beetle and keep the drums for now. I know it can be done, I don't really want to widen the track with bolt on addapters. Is there any legal way in QLD to do this??? Any help would be great!

He said legal.

Are you saying redrilling and studs is legal in Qld??

I know it makes it one bolt pattern but..................... :alien

why is that not legal?

Nothing (mods) is legal unless it is Qld blue-plated... and the only method to get a VW PCD change accepted by an engineer is redrill and studs

Best why to do what you want is get a pair of late disc brake king and link drop spindles.
Have the discs drilled to suit the stud pattern you want.
And for the rear fit late model rear drums etc.
This way you have all standard vw parts and brakes , its all cheap and safe.
Sent me a u2u if you need more detail, i might even be able to help you out with some of the stuff.

I just realised - he said EARLY Beetle

Will need conversion to late-model four-stud PCD hub hardware first.

Man, you don't want Fuchs THAT bad!
