was driving home yesterday on the freeway towards geelong (3 lanes wide)... sitting in the left hand lane watching the cars go by when i spot this car in the emergency lane about a kilometre ahead.
They indicate to pull back onto the freeway but instead of going into the left lane they drive straight across into the right hand lane while they are still doing about 40kmh!!!
all i can see ahead is brake lights galore and evasive action being taken by everyone to avoid hitting this car and hitting each other!!! cars were swerving in and out of other lanes, some nearly side swiping the car next to then in their haste to get out of the way!!
i'm thinkin.... holy shit there's gonna be a MASSIVE accident here and i just got the damn car back!!!!!
anyway everyone somehow managed to avoid any contact with the idiot with the deathwish and anyone else on the road .... and whattya know... i even passed the moron (doing between 85 & 90 to run in the engine) and she still insisted on sitting in the right hand lane.
people were tooting her etc then she pulls into the right hand emergency lane to go through the centre strip (where the cops sit with radars) so she can do a friggin uturn onto the other side of the freeway!!!!
and out of all this there was an exit ramp where she could've safely exited the freeway, gone over the overpass and reentered the freeway going the opposite way without having nearly caused a huge freeway pileup!!!
i have seen some crazy shit on the roads over the years but this has to be the craziest thing i have ever seen.

damn! i almost had a cement semi drive straight over me on Sunday, not because he was changing lanes, just because he was wandering a bit due to lack of concentration, but that well and truly tops it :o

Got forced off the road by double tanker recently at a roundabout. He came steaming up the hill towards roundabout and then just drifted across my lane. Me and the old dear had nowhere to go apart from the central reservation. When I managed to catch up with him at the next set of lights I wound down the window and tried to talk to him......... he was off his chops! Speeding his little heart out shouting at me to report him and see how far I fuppin' got!! Just no respect for the kombi!! Poor old girl got bounced around abit but no real damage thankfully.

I got cut off on the highway coming into Mackay from Townsville on monday by an arsehole turning across the road. Not a nice feeling when your doing 100 kmh in a Manx, you get real nervous.

Just phone up the trucking company instead. I've phoned up Fox once when some idiot was weaving his B-double in and out of peak hour traffic at 100 clicks on Ryde Rd.
Most truckies are good blokes on the road and always give me plenty of space and acknowledge when you flash them back in. But yes, there are some that are doped up lunatics that give the rest a bad name.

That sort of thing happens here in Perth. I'm having to change my driving style simply because new migrants drive any way they like. One of their worst habits is to dawdle in the right hand lane, so just to proceed at legal speeds I am forced to unsafely undertake (note the double meaning) in the left lane.
The only solution is a policy of zero tolerance for the idiots, but that's not PC, so I doubt if it will happen.
