Whats one worth, how many are there and where would i source bit's n piece's for one?

baybuscamperkid ·

well, mechanically it will be basically identical to any other 72 kombi, the floor and walls may be unique as some or all panels came minus mounting points in the floor and structure for rear seatbelts and rear seat mounts. common, no, but no harder then any other 71/72 to source parts for.

Iwish4aSynchro ·

how much you pay for one in average condition liuttle rust etc take age into account?

baybuscamperkid ·

bout the same as any other 72. personally, if unregistered, 2200 or under, if registered, maybe as much as 3k? you cant really ask such questions, cos it all depends on who's buying and the overall state of the vehicle. just take a look around the for sale on here and on ebay and get a feel for the average price of bay kombis in similar condition

72 is a very good year. Has early front Low Light and big engine bay. Mick Muir has a DD which is later which he's been asking 8k for...so I'd say that 2-4k. Assuming it's bog standard.

This was for sale up to 3-4 days ago but decided to use engine for our 72 poptop and sell the rest in bits.
Bed has been sold, and cupboard out.
1600 motor , box, brakes etc are fine -
Could not get a grand for it complete and driveable.

Rear end is going to be a barbecue bar in alfresco area.

We hit rust in front with grinder to check bog.
