We could make our pizza's with as much cheese and pepperoni as we wanted.
Ah the memories.

frog · 30 Sep 2006, 9:15 pm

And I thought You were talking about west coast metric and how there are better rubbers for dubs these days and I'm from QLD and Know didlie about AFL but I always go for the underdog good onyas.

MISS_VDUB wrote:Exactly... everyone knew the swans would lose.

Too true Ash...........

toecutter · 30 Sep 2006, 11:40 pm

Whats with 80% of the Eagles not shaking the young ones hand, when they were giving out the medals? Shame, shame shame!

Anyhow, Ive got a wooden spoon to polish.

We are the Navy Blues.............................................. 🤪

MISS VDUB · 30 Sep 2006, 11:50 pm

I noticed that also, and i was really disappointed. Especially when you see the disappointment in their little faces because they've put their hand out to shake the hand of someone they idol, only to have them to walk off. It would be pretty overwhelming up there with the crowd cheering, but still?

Good on the blokes who took that 2 seconds out to cheer up the young one presenting the medal. Afterall, that child could be the future of footy!

seagull · 30 Sep 2006, 11:56 pm

how many wickets did they win by ?

[ Edited on 30-9-06 by seagull ]

Wild1 · 30 Sep 2006, 11:59 pm

i think they were three under par :alien

seagull · 1 Oct 2006, 12:04 am

they make beer dont they ?

Volkswagenboy · 1 Oct 2006, 12:38 am

Yep, as I said when we were watching it Ash, I was a little p'd off... all they wanted to do is shake their hero's hand.
One bloke even just snatched the medal and hung it over his neck himself!
-Staggers.

Proud_Dad · 1 Oct 2006, 8:47 am

Not that i want to start an arguement but these guys just busted a guy to win the grand final! I reckon they were just a little carried away in the moment, I dont think they snubbed em on purpose. And, even though it doesnt make it right, the swannies did the same thing last year.
