While I was on holiday recently I thought it would be awesome to get a 3 seater trike for the family. It would be heaps better than a car for doing the touristy thing, no roof or pillars to obscure the view, plus it would be very cool 👍 As an added bonus you could make a few weekend bucks doing joyrides and weddings. A couple of years back my daughter and I went on one and after talking to the guy about VW's his wife offered to sell it to me for what I thought then was a stupidly expensive price. Now today I have quick a look and they are all around $30K second hand. How the hell can a VW rear end wth forks at the front cost anything like that???

THUDKNUCKLE ·

trike are soo cool i took one to my year 12 formal it was a sparkly purple on and was vw AC powered ,, the fella that took us was great and showed us the joys on how easy a trike likes to wheelstand everywhere ,,, it was blast

Joel ·

i honestly hate the colour and so does my mum but to get the same attention that that thing gets u'd have to go spend 1/2 million on a ferrari or lambo
i hate going anywhere on it cos ppl just flock to it wanting photos and info abiut it

G'day Kevin.
i live in Tasmania too. Do you know where bellingham is?
I have a shack down there where i keep my volksies but up the gravel road from me there was a green/red Vw powered trike for sale for 4400. Looked well built and my dad knew the owner of it before it was a ttrike. Had a perfect body on it and was a 60 semaphotre model. No rtust and a perfect straight body and the prick sold it for $100! a steal. (This was 15 years ago before i was born.) Otherwise i would of got it. It ran a 1200cc mlotor and looked good and was well built. Was gonna get it but didn't have that much financial backing at the time and shed space. I could ask the owner what happened to it and maybe get you in contact with the new owner?

Hope this could help.

Cheers Will.
