i wound my window down last night and enjoyed the breeze on the way home, but when i parked and tried to wind the window up i heard a clunk! and the winder doesn't seem to grip the window at all..
any advice??
i presume i'd somehow have to remove the inside door panel-thing but i don't see any screws or anything?
any help appreciated

yeah most likely the channel the glass sits in is rusted away...mine too...get em on ebay VWclassic pacific...oh yeah you have to remove handle and winders and trim etc...a few tricks there馃憤

hmm... how would you remove the handle, winders, trim etc?

the pull handle is just two screws, the window winder you need to peel the plastic cover back and undo the screw, the door opener you need a fine screwdriver and pry out the plastic cup which hides a screw. The trim just pops off:thumb
