Fuses? · Aussieveedubbers

being hopeless at electronics is kinda bad.....does anyone know where to get fuses? I havent a clue....want those little plastic ones (not glass) for 57 Beetle.

any car spares shop or even service stations will have them
just ask for ceramic style fuses
theyre generally all 8amp (white) with 1 or 2 16amp (red) for headlights

look in the glovebox there always there like diced carrots i baught a new car and guess what was in the glovebox

I got ripped off, no fuses in the glovebox when i bought it!! damn...:o

If your buying some make sure you get the better quality ceramic holders n not the plastic junk

i'll 2nd that

i had a funky smell driving home one night, thought it was just my heaters
found a few days later a melted plastic fuse
damn 110w hi beam

i found a couple of packs of original vw fuses from the dealership in my glovebox so their probably 31 years old LOL
