I have a 1990 T3 water cooled.
It is actually a 1.9 L with 2.1L running gear
the oil light has stopped comming on.
If i check the oil pressure switches i dont get any volts goilg to them.
Yes - i have discovered they have 2.
With engine off the 0.3bar switch is closed and goes open with the car running.
With engine off the 0.9 bar switch is open and goes closed with the car running
Gathering this is right.
So...................
Where is the Engine Oil Pressure Control Unit??
Do these things break??
Any help appreciated

OK found it on the back of the instrument cluster.
Gathering it is either the LED of the Engine Oil Pressure Control Unit
If it is that i am gathering you just replace the instrument cluster
Or is it easier / cheaper to just wire up a replacement.
Surely it is just like the Type 1 switch set up.
Gathering the 0.3 bar is low oil pressure and the 0.9 bar is high pressure?
Printed circuit just seems to have complicated it.
Any idea what a replacement cluster is worth?
Past expierence???
