Hey blokes, answer like I know nuthn cause thats the way it is. Whats the problem if any about the manifolds, have been getting all sorts of advise from all over re the kadrons as I am thinking of fitting some, are there more than one type of kadron, how do I know if they will fit my dub.

there is not a lot of differance with kadrons only what applacation they were used on some of the racing boys modafie the barrels but that is rear normally the differance is in the manafolds type 3 are short type1 long and the linkages are differant if ya buy for thetype of engine ie type 1 type 2 you should be ok they are bloody bullet proof

kaddies are great, simple carbs that offer very good performance - but those manifolds are not 'Kadron' manifolds. They are modified/extended Type 3 manifolds and loosk like they won't cope with, or deliver the air/fuel to the engine as well as standard Kadron manifolds

they made 44mm kadrons (as opposed to the normal 40mm) at some stage but you almost never see them.

Thanks for that fellas, reckon I might think on it a while or ask my friendly mechanic, he was getting a price together for new kads but seems to be dragn the chain a bit
