Howdy all, Had a little accedent and basically whilst im waiting for their insurance agency to pay up i have been presented with the oppertunity to buy a front end of a 74 (excluding front axel, suspension, brakes).

How easy (or hard) is it to replace everything from just infront of the windscreen forward? Using the old 68 stuffs? but the new front body. I do realise the 68 is flat window and the 74 is rounded but if i cut it right it shouldnt matter (Right??).

And while im at it anyone know or have done something like this? Any help would be awesome.

hmm let me think about it then ..
so i guess it wont bolt onto the same places on the 68 body? etc?
I will need a different steering wheel box etc as well?

And Body wouldnt line up simply?

But could it be done?

So i guess i would need to basically get all the 74 front end parts and just basically cut the car in two and do a really dodgy job... oh well off to find 68 parts just liked the custom lowerd 74 front.
