Just got my hands on a digital camera, so I took a few snaps to show you all.
It's a 1960 model, pretty much stock. I bought it from a forum member about 5 months ago.

Yeah, but it looks the same as when I bought it.
I do plan to fix all the little bits and pieces, like the dent in the rear guard, or the wheel trim that came flying off.
The mods I want to do are, lower it a bit at the front, and maybe give it a coat of paint, and a new rooflining.
I did have plans to put a ragtop in it, but I have since come to my senses. The rag is going in my Baja, which is currently getting built, when that's finished I will start on the bug.
By the way does anyone know the name of the colour?, I think it's called Alabaster?

You don't know how long I've been waiting for someone to get the Fast Show quote 😀 OOh Does she make this sound sir AAH?
Yes that is a headrest, I'm still looking for a matching one.
Skewy, I live in the sticks, but I'm always in the city, or Fitzroy-ish area.
It drives excellently, the best out of the few beetles I've driven, except for the power, cause it's a stock 36hp. Still 6volt, No radio which is a bit of a bummer.
