Only yesterday I was remembering the 1940s Chevy that a neighbour drove when I was a kid. That is very cool. I'd love to drive that.

man was it from gladesville?? there was one in the back of an old shoes shop when i was a kid looked exactly the same and someone got it when the old lady pasted away

Reminds me of our Buick hearse to an extent. Very nice colour choice... okay I'm a little biast since we have 3 matt black cars, but hey that thing is cool.

I know it's a Buick, but a completely different year model (Looks completely different to our '37 model) it's just the matt black that reminds me of our matt black Buick. That looks to be about a 48 Special, straight 8 OHV engine (They loved to show off their OHV's back in those days!), about 250 cubes and 100 or so ponies from memory.
Very gangsta indeed...

Oh and if any of you young folk were to get into tappet cover racing, a straight 8 cover is the shizzle. I won first and second place in a few races when I was a young tike!
