Hi folks,

here's my latest car - a VW Rabbit 07, auto, ESP, sunroof, extra airbags, and upgraded stereo. The VW iPod adapter will go in soon, as will tinting.

I'm not sure what we will call it yet.

Future mods:
  • VW iPod adapter (currently out of stock)
  • Tinting
  • Alloys in the future - maybe. Depends on how soon we end up pregnant.

Belgium? Holland?

Bizarre ·

Said he went to the states a while ago. May have moved to europe from there?

More importantly - what is the 2.5 badge on the back???

What you got in there???

How you likeing it??
Better than the last VW you had??

Well,
the licence plate does indicate that he bought it in Antwerp.....................
So I am guessing that he may make it to Budel and a few other European shows soon 🙂
Well done that man!! (and wife) and congrats on the new bouncing baby car 🙂 but I thought Rabbit was just a US name for the Golf??

The funny thing is that I am indeed in the good ol' USA. The dealer is "Antwerpen VW", which is one of the larger VW dealers in my area - just outside of Columbia, Maryland. I'm just north of Washington DC or just south of Baltimore if that makes it any easier to visualize where I am.

It has a 2.5 inline 5 cylinder engine which sounds absolutely excellent - very throbby when you step on the loud pedal and it boogies like something kicked it good and proper up the arse.

The Rabbit logo is the name for the Golf here.

If you want to read more about buying a car in a strange country, check out my blog entry:

I will fix up the images there soon.

Well done,
from memory that is near some very nice country. I only got to spend a few weeks over that side, but it is nice.
Congrats on the car as well.
