On my previous 1970 Beetle......

crsedge ·

How looks on a 'German Look' Beetle, larger rims and lower profile tyre- Sweet Look!!

bond ·

yeah - thats hot

Type3Sicko ·

Who did the upright conversion on that german looker? Sweet man...oh yeah, nice rims too. would they fit on a type 3 with spacers or just bolt straight on?

crsedge ·

Would need Porsche pattern on drums/discs for it to fit. Unsure of whether would need spacers, but would think not.

Hi Crsedge,

Can you please let me know how much to WA- If you can box them and send them via post it should'nt be more than $20ea?

Consider them sold- Cheers, Wayne🙂

crsedge ·

Will do, will endeavour to get to post office tomorrow and let you know!

Rims still for sale- unfortunately 5PLITDC1ON thought wouldn't fit his particular car.

Can organise courier to anywhere, had quote for $20 per wheel to WA, so anywhere is possible at reasonable rates!!

Brendan, looks like he went thru Aussie post (above)

try this....

http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/aus_parcel.asp

and go to your local P.O, they can give you a sheet for all post codes with weight categories and dimensions...........cost me $24 for two wheels from here to Melbourne

Special Air Service ·

Thanks dumone, I've checked Aus post before but I thought it worked out dearer than that maybe I over estimated weights & stuff.

i have been known to wrong b4 he he,
but if u bag them like in olde chaff bags h/duty
they seem to put in bulk post and had cheaper postage. the box makes the cargo space taken up - bigger

greyhound is also worth checking.
Also depends if u know the ppl in yer P O helps to be able trust them. They can push buttons in yer favour or in error.

Actually have a contact who owns a freight business for those interested in these wheels. This would be the safest way for them to be delivered so they all arrive in the one delivery and be signed for, rather than waiting for 5 separate boxes/bags!
