Sounds great Brad would be a great drive down. I was in Sorrento last Saturday and it was real busy, great ice-creams. The ferry cost is around $50 each way.

Didnt realise ferry was so much....but Sorrento would be a nice drive. Any suggestions for a good spot to gather in Sorrento?

Theres a large car park on the forshore in front of where the ferry takes off should be enough room for the cruise.

Ok. Sunday 28th January. Choker Run is on. Meet at Fuelzone, Cnr North Road and Poath Road, Murrumbeena at 9.30 am, cruise to Sorrento foreshore, for byo or buy your own lunch/drinks in the shade of the pines.
Will travel down Nepean to freeway, then onto Sorrento.
All welcome.

Why not meet up at Brandon Park like back in the day? Straight down Springvale Rd to the Peninsula Fwy then onto Rosebud and then Nepean Highway to Sorrento.

Thanks all. That was a hoot. Weather started off a bit dodgey, but came real good. A few got wetter than they've been for a while. First time Damien's has been wet since Valla I think.

Top day Brad and a good turnout of varied types and styles of dubs..Highlights of the day were...very shiny type 3 fastback, Tofo beetle with narrowed beam, ghia cabrio complete with canine security and ...hearing Jnr356 blast past me on full throttle....Hopefully next gathering i'll have time to chat to the crew who attend and share a brew.. for me/chris/mark, heading home was fraught with danger!

we're just about to get on the start of the freeway, and this damned divvy van pulls out and starts following us!

did that for about 5kms, looking closely at all of us...and then disappears off into the distance and pulls over an EA falcon wagon.
