semi auto type 3?

i was fairly sure only beetles and KGs came out with semi autos
anyone else ever seen one?

apparently this hacked fastback is one
afaik theyre only manual or fully auto

either owner has no idea or it is a custom semi auto.

Yes,
they didn't have semi autos in Fastbacks or any type 3s...

I thought the TLE were fuel injection engines...

I'm not sure what year the fully auto type 3s came out...

a photo of the gearlever would reveal all....

THis also brings up a Q that has been bugging me for a while... has anybody tried and succeeded in putting fully automatic Type 3 transmission in a beetle?
