I like it a lot. Hillbilly Hellcats are great. Always thought Brian Setzer was the best guitarist I have heard too.

Problem is. I am in Melbourne and that helps you none right?

PartyHatCentral · 16 Jan 2007, 8:56 pm

Yeah, Brian Setzer does 'rock this town'.. Have you been to the Wintersun festival? Coolangatta turns into rockabilly central for about a week - music, rods, big-chief burgers - tis a must-do event.. starts 1 June

Saw Stray Cats live when I was a young feller, they were awesome. Does that count?

Fern ButterBug · 20 Jan 2007, 2:27 pm

Yes to all above, Brian Setzer -
StrayCatz awesome. Like you "sinecure" I saw the Catz when they toured Brisbane years ago, truly the best. I've only recently rekindled my love for Rockabilly espeacially since my 63 ButterBug came into my life. I recieve a newsletter from "Robot Roundup" International featuring some crazy bands that are happening here in Brisbane if anyones interested in a HUGE Culture Shock have a look at these Crazy Critters, and i mean CRAZY... www.robot.com.au

Hi Voodoo how are you, love your car by the way, you got some names of these bands that you are into, need some new tunes for the car. Cheers Damo.

The Creepers are a great rockabilly group, I have their albums!
They perform at Wintersun too... I love Wintersun!
Are you interested in a rockabilly hangout too?
