All VW shops would sell the ones that are normally used on VWs...
but that may be an odd one....
all bolt shops sell them...
Best of luck

Whichever system you choose, you will need the correct tap etc so it may be best to take it to workshop to get it done. If you can wait untill next week, send me a PM with your address and I'll send you a M10x1.5 helicoil tap and a few helicoil inserts.

Thanks mate for the very kind offer. I have a tap just chasing the helicoil insert!! If i haven't got it fixed up i'll let you know. Thanks again mate, much appreciated. 🙂
I have heard of people putting these in new heads as they are stronger.
Didnt need to pull the head either.
You do need a special tool to use them though.

Try Coventry Fasteners in your city

Just a thought; I drilled-out the upper shock mount threads/holes and used high-tensile 'through' bolts and nylok nuts on my front end. Just needed to 'massage' the inner guard a couple of mm for bolt clearance
