Hey everyone,
Just picked up this little beauty from a swap meet. I reckon she's a Vespa but can anyone help with an approximate model etc. This will be a task to get on the road, but we'll see how we go.
Meet Viola the Vespa (i think).

You are right, it is a Vespa, or what is left if it!!
It has been cut down quiet a bit, sorry can't help with year model, but it is 60's vintage.
If you give me the frame number, I can find out what it is for you.
This is a pic of mine

Now they look in much better shape..... lol...
Have you heard of Cushman scooters...
they were made from 1940s to 1960s approx...
not sure where they were made.....
very basic looking.....
Here you go, a wealth of info. There is even a serial number search to help you identify year model, etc. It was a big help when I restored one for a friend.
I hope you got moe than the body, or it wil be a very costly exercise.
Good Luck
Wayne.

Thanks folks. There is much more than the body, a whole lot of boxes and a lot of double ups and so on ie. 2 fuel tanks, 4 wheels etc.
We'll see how we go.

looks like a vespa 150, GL?. Im about halfway through restoring one that is similar. From what ive read the chop down look that your frame has was a bit of a fad from the boy racer brigade. A big help for me is the manual 'How to restore and maintain your vespa motorscooter', Bob Darnell and Bob Golfen, Motorbooks.
cheers.

Paid 100 bucks for the lot so if it all goes in the bin eventually I won't cry too much, thanks again for the help folks.
