A question for the Fuch Wheel Gurus

Are the black centres on the later 16" Fuch Wheels painted or anodised?

I'm talking about what the factory did originally.

I was under the impression that it was anodised as getting it off seems a lot more difficult than normal paint removal.

I could have sworn, that on my 15s that the black was painted, as it came off pretty easy. I think they were painted over the anodising of the alloy.

I know that the black centre caps are anodised as Ihave had to strip this off before.

some where anodised, some powder coated, not sure which ones tho.................a guy in the US told me that when he begins the refinishing process, sometimes the chemical stripper does nothing_indicating anodising

My 15s were undercoated with a light grey after I took off the black factory colour. The Wheel polisher wasn't too happy with me when I asked him to pay specific attention around the area of the wheel studs...
