1954(fits 53-60)KILOMETER SPEEDO NICE $60au plus ship

stamped 1954 and is in good condition as pictured but it does need the chrome button on the needle.takes about 5 minutes to swap that part over but i dont have any spares at the moment.shipping from berlin germany via economy will cost $20au(12,90euros for ca.2-2.5weeks) or $40 for airmail(25,80 euros ca.7-10 days...not worthg the extra in my opinion as enonomy has been taking less then 2 weeks lately..)payment in my westpac accout and ill sell it on a first come first serve basis.

You can post this with Maxiibrief Luftpost (airmail) for EUR 12,00 which is about AU20.00.

Economy mail from Germany will take at least 3 months!!

To open the speedo to replace the needle is not a simple task if you want to maintain the integrity of the unit. You have to remove the outer bezel - ring, glass and then make sure you replace the needle in exactly the same position or it will not read correctly. You will need to a drill to do this correctly. Before and after speeds to be recorded! THIS IS NOT A FIVE MINUTE JOB!

removing the bezel isn't difficult, you need to be gentle and take it slowly to avoid messing up the rear mounting lip. even if the lip ends up a little wavy you won't see it anyway once fitted (especially if you have the stock wiring cover in place). if you intend to sit it in a cabiniet then yes you could see it, but...

as for the needle, do you need to pull the needle off to put a new cap on? even so, if you take it to a good speedo place to get the needle fitted it's still not a steep price for a 54 kph speedo.

btw i don't know kdf king so this isn't a plug. i just don't get your comments, they seem rather harsh.

and i dont know SULLERS problem .but you dont know jack about vws.i can personally remove and reinstall a chrome bezel from a pre 67 vw speedo in about 2-3 minutes on a slow day???? and the chrome tabe is glued on (by factory)so im assuming that this also would be possible(as ive done this many atime with no problems.and the speedo is tested and works.:and as people know ive sold alot of km speedos and if i describe my stuff it is honestly

And by the way suller 12,90euros up to 2kg is packchen worldwide (which is supposed to be seamail but ive been sendind packchens latley that have been arriving about 2-2.5 weeks which is why i consider this the samwe as economy.EXACTLY double this gets you AIRMAIL worldwide for up to 2kg .so 25,80 so about 45au$ ...before you open your mouth please make sure that somthing inteligent comes out as people might think your a big mouth idiot.....not my thoughts by the way.cheers from germany!
