Man, there were some nice cars there on the weekend, and more "rattier" dubs (i dont think i can even class yours as a "dog" Alan?). I don't understand the voting when there are results like this, it makes me wonder who's actually voting?

馃槀 guess that shows that maybe the focus was more on the event as a whole than voting (though the weather may have influenced the public input). Too many great cars to choose from, so many shiny things 馃憤 Plus I think since the 06 'dog fight' (Festy IS dOg!) the category will take a few years to recover, It takes time to build up a decent layer of Guano.. though there was discussion at the pub about the use of regurgitated foodstuffs as a 'quick fix' alternative :PBaja Wes wrote:Yes, the dog of the day was better than the car of the day :o

I agree with Dasdubber, voting just spoils a day that is just supposed to about enjoying volkswagens.
Althought I admit it is nice to win an award, the compliments you receive from the people there is probably worth more.... and without trophies it would mean more
We are there because we love to drive our cars.... some of us more than others but we still enjoy driving them.
The event is well organised and I want to take absolutely nothing away from that..... keep up the good work.
