tasty. while i'm a aircooled person, MK1's are lurvly....

btw if you haven't got a kamai golf ball gearknob, get one, the look cool (i think) and are nice to drive with.

Looks like a lot of fun Costa. Good one!

i second the notion of a golf ball gear knob. I had one on my 77 golf as well as a chin spoiler. The chin spoiler disapeared because i had it too low and the golf ball gear knob is hiding from me. Gotta love good old mk1's. What lump you running in it?

One step ahead mate!

They make a huge difference in the feel of the gearbox!

Baz ur right it is the wifes but since i cleaned it for her it mine for now.

Im not a fan of the twin headlight kit as it reminds me too much of the Mk2 Golf. I like the retro single light look like all the euro's had.

As for Engine its a 1.8 GTI engine still on carbs.

I bought it from a guy in Melb that works for VW i wonder if anyone recognises it
