Usually, at least 6 people from the Upper Hunter attend.
sometimes more than 10...

I can remember staying at the old venue overnight...

Rat's are easy to judge. Just look for the ones that look like they just escaped out of Sim's holding yard and deduct points for anything that look like it took effort to do! 😁

yeah i think we will prob meet around 1130 ??? or so

perhaps the bar under the grand stand would be a good place we can toast n roast the other AVD memebrs who carnt make the day the judging finishes at 11 so i will have so free time then I thnik LOL

I wont have a swap meet site for the first time in 3 years so I will get a decent look at the cars instead of doing the usual run through during lunch. Did someone mention a bar 🤪

All the owners of the vehicles in the Rat Look class have a squiz at the other cars
then they make a decision amonst the various owners and hand it to us

I wont be there this year as Ill be down the south coast for easter. Its the first time in about 5 years that Ive missed it, but I suppose there will be enough people going and taking photos to see what its like.

Just went and set the navigation run for Saturday, so come along on Saturday for a run in your dub, we end up at Vintage for a few snags and drinks, don't tell anyone, its a secret location.

Leaving early Friday morning with family. Kombi and kids will have the obligatory 15-20 minute stops every two hours - Kombi will probably be the most grateful for the stops. On my own I usually stretch it out between fuel stops only, approx 3 - 4 hours.

The VW Nationals coverage will actually squeeze into the next issue due out May 4th.
