hahaha... love the testimonials and just love the disclaimer... specially the last statement in it.
"feels like my car has a turbo on it"..... indeed..... :alien

same as that other brand sold here in australia, absolute waste of money.

Vortex generators must do something, cause lots of truck manufacturers spend lots and lots of dollars developing them.

oh shit now i look stupid

On paper, these units can achieve better fuel efficiency and a cleaner burn when the engine has been tuned appropriately, but I'm not sure about 20-30hp gains.
vwrallycar ·
i think u will find there MAY be a gain on non fuel injected cars, as a lot of the later stuff use the inlet manifolds to get that type of swirling effect
i have seen tests done on these units and the gains were so small, not worth the money

I think I'll save my money and buy a heap of ricer decals for the extra 3horsepower gain in power. Sheesh, if I'm lucky I could get an extra 2hp from a rear spoiler.
Eat that twin carby type 3 owners....🤪

geeze i could get an extra 3hp if i take me toolbox and spare wheel out 😀😀

Nah Notchie, a type R sticker on your harley adds at least 20 hp, more if it is a red one!
I had a cooper s years ago with an ex racer set of carbs and the manifolds had the vanes grooved into it when ported and matched to the head, had vanes into the ports too. Dunno how much effect it had, was bored to 1310, cam and extractors, big valves, went like stink.

I'd probably get more hp from the Harley if I ate more baked beans. I can't complain tho'. It may be considered oldschool technology, but it still gets the front wheel off the ground! Surprises a few motorists as well I can tell you!:o
(Maybe I need a spoiler attached to the front guard to counteract this abnormal occurance?).

A Harley with the front wheel of the ground you'v got to be kidding

why would you want swirl in your intake ports? I was seeking smooth laminer flow. Damn these expensive head port and polishing ing people. I knew they were ripping me off.

My cousin and I hooked up a kombi heater blower fan to the carby of a 1200 beetle when we were about 15yr old. We were hoping for the turbo effect and massive power gains 🙂
Unfortunately it did crap all :P
Ah, the silly things you try when you haven't even finished high school and don't understand why it's a dumb idea 🙂

years ago (probably about 15 years ago) I saw a car in VWTrends with the heater hoses hooked into the carb tops. Must have went like the clappers to have been put in a mag.

i fitted 2 of those turbonators!!! i gained 40HP, and i can get from Perth to Sydney on a tank full of petrol!! Nahh HONEST😂😂😂
