[ Edited on 23-5-2007 by jhp1 ]
Does anyone know if this is around the period of ovals and will it fit?

mine are not done up or cleaned as u can see
but with a lil effort shouldcome good.
Blaupunkt will take a while and a few $$$ for us to find
jhp1 ·
Yeah realise that just tring to find something that matches the factory look you dont have a 6v '54 horn kicking around do you?
Turbo54 ·
if you want original, don't put in a radio... never factory.

Yeah I know bt the dash has been cut for a radio. I would have prefered it hadn't but I dont really want to repair/repaint dash at this stage also an antennae has been installed on the front quarter so Im kinda stuck.

that removes the winder handle from the regul;ator shaft I would assume you need to replace the the plastic knob on the handle itself,
- me too as the knob on one of my winders is about to disassociate itself from the handle (for the last 2 years) as far as I can assume only way I can do it is get a later model handle with a good knob And destroy handle to remove knob & little shaft it sits on, & peen it into my original handle after drilling the old shaft out of that.

I got this Blaupunkt for my 56. You could order the car (Oval) with this radio from the dealer. Or fit one later. This radio is period correct for my car.
