Hi All,
My brother Adrian has a Mk1 Escort with 2.0 BDA head, sierra 5 speed, injection etc, 16" wheels etc and some f--kwit thought it would be funny to ram his and 2 other cars in his street on friday night. Adrians is writtens off, the other 2 were just side swiped so now he is looking for another running 2 door to transform all his gear into. It was a tuff little car and went hard and now is a sorry piece of twisted shit sitting in his driveway... Anyone?

a fella who works next door to me races a 2 door with a cossie donk, i know he had a couple more in his shed. i can chase him up if u like, they are in C-Qld, i am sure even if he is not willing o sell his he would know of more.

Thats bad news. Is their insurance on any of this? The insurance companies can be ass holes in the area of modified car values but if he sticks to his guns and gets independent values on his car he can get some compensation.

He has insurance ony if he hit someone / fire and theft, not if your car is rammed and the dick's do a runner!

You never know, they might catch the mongrels. Its a shame he didn't have comprehensive insurance, I think it was about $500 for $20,000 cover on my old yellow bug with Shannons.

T54, that's very very sad mate. I was at an event on the weekend and saw a beautiful mk1. I've got a real soft spot for em. I hope they find the clown and make him pay.
I'm with steve, go shannons next time. cheap and cheerful.

Nathan, get it insured in your father's name with you as a regular driver. Legal...and they can't refuse. 😉
