My mother had taken my brother and I for a drive to Nana Glen to a cafe for brunch.
We were nearly at the cafe when we passed a cop car on the side of the road.
It was a 50 zone and we were doing 60 but slowed down to 55.
We thought, we'd get a fine for sure but looked back and they weren't following us.
So, we just didn't take notice after that.
We pulled up at the cafe and got out of the kombi and as we turned around, there was that same cop car.
'Excuse me mate' they said to my 15 year old brother 'Is this yours?'
Mum told them it was hers and we all thought she had a fine for sure.
All they wanted was a photo!! :P
Got a photo, deffiantly a Kodak moment.
Has anyone else been pulled over by police/other drivers just for a photo?

yeah really they looked at the radar readout and looked at the bus and thought nah that cant do that speed.. haha lets freak em out and get a pic instead of givin them a ticket..

Wish that was me last Saturday, instead I got my first speeding ticket in about 15 years! $150 plus 3 points. The copper was nice and like the cab but still nicked me 👎

Havent been asked for a foto by a cop, however a Pulsar did pull into the Coles Express at Sutton FOrest whilst I was waiting for the rest of the Kombi CLub convoy at easter, and asked if I could take a photo of the 5 of them in front of BC, after they had seen the rest of the convoy further up the Hume... needless to say I said "no wukkas mate!" 😀

Have been pulled over quite a few times in my Kombi by police and reasons were rego check,RBT and licence check!! Then the questions about the car started. even funnnier was my business name on the side.....RBT Detailing and Morotsport!!!
Cops thought that was pretty funny....

I've never been puled over for a photo, but when I had my Herbie, people were constantly asking to let me photgraph him with their kids in him, or taking his picture as we drove along.
That's a really nice Kombi you have there. It's well worth a picture.
