You people in Newcastle just keep dreaming up ways to get new cars and houses. First with the earthquake, and now this..

Watching some of the footage on the news tonight, it never ceases to amaze me how many dim wits try to drive through floods. Its bad enough when people in 4WDs think they are invincible and get swept off causeways all the time, but tonight there were clowns in normal sedans and hatchbacks trying to drive through this stuff and wondering why their cars start floating away. bizarre.

Even washed the P off one capt'n snooze sign and the N off the other😀.

beware potential 2nd hand car buyers!
as these pre loved over washed wrecks are comin to an interstate vehicle auction center near you within weeks..
bargains surely or sorely to be had.. 🤪

Yeah, we saw an orange Bay at the NRMA impound yard at gateshead. was just being dropped off with a couple of other cars

What amazed me, watching the news through the week, was how many of these cars were technical write offs because their electronics got wet.

Yeah, Fowles has nearly 1,800 cars comming up for a 2 day clearance auction. they say 95% of the vehicles still run.
I wouldn't trust the ones with salt water damage though. 🙁
