WTD Very noice bumpers.

Hi,
I'm now seriously looking for a set of bumpers for a 64 , so before I go ordering Harringtons I'm having a good look round at home first, these can be just blades ---blades with overiders or towely's, the only thing is they must be is in very good nick, I expect to pay for them so I'm not wanting everything for nothing as I've observed is often the case, anybody got anything noice they will sell me ??

Sorry to upset you - I am not actually looking to buy, but as I am new to the world of VW I am trying to get an indication of what a good pair would be worth (amoungst other things).

As posted - I was curious to know what a good condition pair are worth - my '65's bumpers are good, but in time I will consider replacing them for a better pair (low priority, as there are more important places to pour my money into the car).

Is the one that needs overiders front or rear ?

Al, one on frt bar, one on back, both dents on same side, lower section of the overrider. If you had a drift, cloth and hammer you could repair them quite well. Really man, best to come have a look at them for an accurate appraisal mate. What you deem pristine may not be same as what I do or vice-versa. Bernie has seen them and agreed that what Im after for them was quite reasonable.


I had pics posted in that last sale thread I had mate and atm dont have access to nowt but a camera fone and its shat at best.
