Anyone heard of the Mk1 Golf GTD???

Heres a curly one,,

I know that there are GTI golfs out there, pretty common, but has anyone got info on a diesel version (Mk1) known as the GTD? Pre 1990?

sure you dont mean GLD? It was the diesel model

google is your friend ,gtd should be turbo charged diesel

in the uk there was a gti diesel, mk1 golf, they also had gti jetta's both petrol and diesel versions.

The GTD is basically a GTI, but diesel (GDL is the diesel GLS),, apparently very rare
