Hello

I've been lurking on here for a while, looking at the cool cars you've got, so thought its about time I registered and said hello.

I'm from Wigan, UK and these are my dubs
55 Oval and 66 Ghia

and my long time love, 66 Split

If you're interested in seeing the UK scene, I've got a site I put my photos from shows on. Theres still loads to go on when I get round to it but you'll get the idea 🙂

Hi Mate ,
I,m from Manchester been out here since 74 reciprocal pics of my 64.

Imageshack just click pic and wait 3 millenium to enlarge

Tell me pray--noticing the sunroof in your 55 does anyone in the UK make decent aftermarket folding sunroofs apart from Press Stud Paris that fit early's ?
Cheers , Al .

Hi Al,

The 55 has an aftermarket sunroof fitted (done long before I got it). Its a Britax one and is very good quality. Slides and seals nice and doesn't leak. Until I recently built a car port, the oval sat outside in all weathers and the roof never leaked..............and not a press stud in sight 😉

I'm not sure if you can still get them. Just found this site: http://www.donmar.com/OBSOLETE/obslt_sr.htm
I think its the very bottom one so although branded as a Britax, it was made by a company called Donmar - if it is that one, then its discontinued 🙁

btw, nice 64. What carb are you running? A weber?

gooday there
