Hi,

If anyone has a manual for a Type 3 can you look up the suspension specs for a Type 3 (Wagon I think) with IRS 24mm diameter rear torsion bars and tell me the spring rate?

I want to give this figure to the guys rebuilding my shocks to they can optomize the valving.

Thanks in advance.

CT,

get in contact with Sway-A-Way in the states as they make Torsion bars.

Diameter is 24mm,
bar length is not overall as mentioned on the link,
and arm length is from wheel centre to tortion centre.

PS.
use inches.

Hi

They are 23.5 mm, the 24 mm ones were on the swing axle models only. M249 is the IRS option
