Front Torsion bar suspension arms 1968

Hi,
Has anyone ever had the front torsion bar suspension arms
adjusted???

When i had New ball joints fitted to My front arms,
the local mechanic had to use a 50 ton press to get the old ones out...

a 20 tonne press wouldn't budge them...

so, it looks like He has bent both arms...
as i have positive camber on both front wheels...
and I just noticed both front tyres have worn on the outside....

I have read in manuals where You should take the arms to the local VW dealer for adjustment....

so I'm presuming there may be a "special" tool for doing this....

Any info??? Any ideas... that won't cost the earth....

shouldnt you be able to take it to a suspension place for a camber and wheel alignment? ball joint beams have adjustable camber dont they?

Yes,
they have camber adjusters , and I've adjusted them as far as they will go...

I just remembered that You can get camber adjusters with More adjustment....
I saw them for sale years ago....
Especially made for racing I presume...
