I have just bought myself a facet electric fuel pump, now does anyone know whether they're better at sucking or blowing? I just need to know so I can work out where it's best mounted.

They need to be mounted below the tank, and in the instructions they should mention a correct mounting angle.

Yep definitely work best gravity fed (ie under tank as Steve notes above).
