Who\'s used an Empi Kingpin rebuild kit before ?

I was informed by George from CVD there is no reaming required with these bushes, which doesn't sound right to me.

Any thoughts ? anyone else used this kit ?

Sorry i havn't used this kit but you can bet one thing if its got E$#I on the packet it will not F$#King fit EVER

haven't used em... but sounds a bit odd that it wouldn't require reaming.
unless the whole kit is together and the reaming has already been done to suit the pins in the kit.

thats not right you have to ream them to the correct size as the bushes are a interference fit and will shrink slightly on the inside

wow, they never sieze to amaze with consumer 'friendly' products that aint worth sh!t...

buy some brazillian ones at least!!! they are not that much, and borrow or buy an expandable reamer.

ps. my old bug is looking pretty sweet these days!!

yeah the Brazilian ones would be much better than the so called EMPI ones
