Thanks

I have to ask why as it is usually cheaper to buy 4 x 5's

You should be able to buy them off BP or Castrol wholesaler just look them up in phone book. Often truck/farming retail centres can supply at good price too.

Thanks Brad . . a friend of mine has been buying oil near Gladstone when he visits his son and 20 litres of whatever he buys (the best, knowing him) is cheaper than in 5 litre bottles, so I thought I'd see what others had found.

I've found that the prices on the 20 litre drums to be very similar to the 5 litre bottles in most retail outlets, but if you shop around you can sometimes find them on special....

20 litre drums are much easier to store, and remove the need to go to the shops before every oil change (I also keep a stock of filters - buying them in bulk can make them cheaper too!)

With 5 cars you need to try make things easier, less time consuming and to save a buck here and there....

supercheap on their 20% sale days are good. Though i think they now only stock 10L drums not the big 20L.....
