G'day mate, I have a perfect starter that was in my oval for the last 6 months. It was reco'd by a vw mechanic in brissy and has only seen a bit of use in the last 6 months (couple of days a week) - cost me $270 for the reco. Shall u2u you.

PS if anyone is chasing a near new 6V battery as well, I no longer need mine.
