Ok ,... now NO rules have been broken nor has anything improper gone on.

If you send a U2U, then you have to wait untill the person next gets back on the forum. If a person who is selling an item lists a phone number, that would suggest you USE IT, that is if you "really" want the item.

Now when i get a phone call about 15 minutes after i made the post and i am told that the person is happy to pay the price + shipping and wants my bank details... i will take that as SOLD, and that they were FIRST.

Just so y'all know - as mods we cannot access and DO NOT access anyone's PM's. I can only delete the PM's in my own in/outbox and no-one elses.
Just in case that's where this discussion was headed 🙂

Its OK Alan, I know that mods are limited in what they can do.
What about higher up than that? How secure are our
passwords etc.?
Maybe its a big glitch in the system that needs to be fixed.

Im not suggesting theres anything underhand I just think there must be a problem with the PMs. John I sent you one at the same time I posted my first post about being second for the radio. I have also tried to PM a few others on here only to receive PMs saying that they didnt receive them. So I'd like to know whats up?

At least now I know I can just call the seller direct next time and ignore who ever posts the initial claim or interest for the item; especially with the U2U's being this problematic...😊

I think if there is a number its the best method, but if others have posted their interest that would be unfair.

In this case yes I called about and had purchased the radio but this had all happened about 35min before any posts where ever made.
Just look at the time of post and the time of the first post of interest. The radio was sold within 15min of listing.
I presume no access to a computer till after work was the case of no answers or no posts saying it was sold where posted till later in the day.

But its clear the main concern here is a problem with the u2u's not always working, maybe this will need to be looked at?

Either way god buy Nathan looks like a bargain mate. Hopefully Admins will sort out the PM situation.
